Oh beautiful wild flowers! I could stir at these for days!

Thanks, Julie! You can see some of these wild flowers growing along roadways in NM in the summer and fall. But I don't think anyone plants them. But you never know, the State might had a program to throw wildflower seeds along the roads at some time in the past.

Our council in Auckland used to sow wild flower seeds along the motorway heading out of town and these flowers looked amazing! Just glorious. Don't know why they stopped .. Wonderful colours in your Friday flowers Tim. Thanks for sharing ...

Thanks, Teagan! They must be colorblind, because I don't care how overwhelmed easterners are by the seemly endless shades of browns, tans and ochres we have in New Mexico that they miss the reds, pinks, and yellows under the often dusty looking green foliage, they can't miss the color of the big, blue sky out here unless they are colorblind.
