Tabatha Tasca. A beautiful, petite Persian.
We drove to town for a party last night and these two cats were among the cats at the party.

Dexter Hudson. The handsome, tough guy of the neighborhood.

Peace in at dawn after a light rain
Our roses are really blooming. Peace, which in the middle of the property and has been neglected, has put on some nice big blooms. I've included panoramas of a couple different views of the garden to show the rose bushes in bloom.

"Take your cat to work day" found Sasha slipping out the back door while chasing a fly and ending up on the ball in the construction site swatting at the fly.

Laurie walking the labyrinth with shaded by her sun umbrella.
Laurie was the more flowery than anything in the first garden we visited on the 2015 Corrales Garden Tour. The garden was mostly grasses, shrubs and trees with a labyrinth, pond with koi, a classic Chevy truck the color of root beer, lizards, hummingbirds hovering around feeders, various sculptures, bird houses and other knick-knacks. There were a few flowers around the edges, but the "designed" landscaping was dominant.

We went on the Corrales Garden Tour yesterday. The sculptures and artifacts were some of the interesting features.

A purrfect fit!
We've had Sasha a week now and she's really made herself at home. A box bottom from a rice cooker is the perfect box for Sasha. She is also engaging the other kitties in play as you can see in the series of her and Najar having a tussle.

Sometimes I have to get in the center, putting myself on the edge, to get the shot.

Sasha when she fist arrived Sunday night.
Sasha is now the 7th kitty in our clan. Her former owner could no longer keep her and was going to take her to the pound. We took her in instead.

Reacting to Spunk on her carrier

By the time I got home yesterday evening about 7:00 pm, Sasha and Spunk had started playing. In this sequence, Sasha advances, Spunk bats her back, she does a roll and then slides forward, pushing off the box for an "on the back attack."

Guildenstern loves having Laurie carry him around the garden on her shoulder, under her hat.
