Yellow & Blue
Wonderful eye capturing images .. love that fence! And those pillars do a great job of framing :)
Thanks, Emilio. I believe the woman in the blue dress is probably a news report. I photographer from the local paper was doing photos across the street, so I figured they had some story they work working on with the new building going up across the street from where the woman in blue was standing. I don't have TV, so I don't know what the well known news reports look like, but when I see news teams around at different events, the women reporters are always dressed similar to the woman in blue. I was wondering if she was going to start the camera and do a news report, by herself or just do the filming, but I couldn't wait around long enough to see what she was going to do.
I like the way my eye is caught by the colors in the first shot, then the buildings and fence, and then the girls. So much to look at and enjoy. In the second, I also like the colors but they seem to be a bit more muted. And nice job of framing the woman, who looks totally incongruous dressed as she is, and standing in heels behind a camera on a tripod!
Hi Harry. It's kind of hard to do street photography without getting someone doing a selfie or photographing someone else. Even in the sparsely populated streets of downtown Albuquerque.
