Nice fashion statement on the hardhat in the foreground.

"It's stuck!"

Thanks, Lavinia! Could be an alien construction worker from another world. We are know for UFOs. Roswell is having its annual UFO convention this weekend.

Thanks, Teagan! Henry Cartier Bresson referred to it as the "decisive moment". I've always loved Bresson's photos and studied his work in photography classes and photo history at UNM many years ago. I started working for an artesian woodworker when I was 15, who would lend me out to various construction contractors, so I learned almost all the construction trades between the age of 15 and 20, so I may look at construction from a little different perspective than photographers who have never worked the trades.

Those are great photos, and I agree with Teagan you have a great eye for spontaneous composition, Tim!

The hard hat looks a bit like a flying saucer with the sun shield innovation. That's what it struck me as at first. Great idea!

That guy should patent his hardhat accessory. That's a brilliant idea for protection from the intense New Mexico sun.
I'm not sure what is about it, but I always enjoy your construction photos, Tim. Maybe it just makes me feel a forward movement, or maybe I'm fascinated by the process. Whatever the case that is another good one.
The "lines" photo is great too. How funny that all the women matched. You have a good eye for spontaneous composition.
Happy weekend hugs.
