The full moon was like the sun shining through the clouds when we were walking to the car after the last lecture in this year's Medieval Studies Lecture Series.

Hugin and Munin
Fly every day
Over all the world;
I worry for Hugin
That he might not return,
But I worry more for Munin
The Poetic Edda. Grímnismál, verse 20. The original Old Norse verse reads:
Huginn ok Muninn
fljúga hverjan dag
Jörmungrund yfir;
óumk ek of Hugin,
at hann aftr né komi-t,
þó sjámk meir of Munin.

It's not the cover of the Rolling Stone, but having one of my photos published on the cover of Albuquerque Business First is the next best thing. Stephanie Guzman published an excellent article on the Imperial Building using the series of photos from the animated gif I published in January. The animated gif shows a time lapse sequence of a year of the construction progress of the Imperial building . You can see the animated gif at The End’s in Sight — A Year After A Ground Breaking Experience, which is on the WordPress side of my blog at Off Center and Not Even POTDE Archives.
You can get more information on Albuquerque Business First at http://www.bizjournals.com/albuquerque, and you can also purchase a PDF version of this issue of Albuquerque Business First 04/15/2016 for $4.99 at http://www.bizjournals.com/albuquerque/promo/albuquerquesi if you would like.

I was awakened at 6:00 am by the sound of gobbling outside the window, and Spunk running in from the catio, bounding across my chest, leaping through the mini-blinds to look out the window onto the drive. After looking out the window for a moment, he stomped across my chest again and ran back out to the catio. I got up, peeked out the window through the mini blinds and saw a group of turkeys strolling through the parking area. By the time I got sweats and shoes on, grabbed my camera and got outside, they were heading down the road towards our neighbor's yard where the Tom turkey strutted is stuff for me.

Eight turkeys strolling down the road...

One fly, flies away...

Seven turkeys strolling down the road.

Having a turkey talk about the paparazzo pestering them before the sun is even up.

Tom turkey giving me a feathery turkey moon.

Turkey trot.
